Hi Angelina
Hope
you are well and have had a good BH weekend. I've been meaning to
write something for you since our last class so here it is (below) - soz
its taken an age. Xander is doing great. He spends two days a week
with his grandparents now (my inlaws) so they are being driven bonkers
by the Christmas S&S DVD instead! Everyone thinks he's so cute when
he says please and thankyou in signs, & sorry (and of course I love
my daily 'I love you's'!!!) Thankyou so much for the classes. You're
made for it - dont ever leave!!! I'm still looking for a replacement
mid week activity but I don't think anything is going to measure up!
Angelina's classes
are fantastic! I would sit at work on a stressful day imagining myself
and Xander in the class singing and signing away to keep myself sane. It
became a kind of focal point in the week for me between the adult, and
stressful world of work, and the fun, bonkers world of toddlers and
signing. Angelina is really enthusiastic, really friendly and with
oodles of energy and positivity, perfect for this kind of class. She's
also full of fab 'top tips' for parenting so you come away not only
armed with a way of communicating with your little one, but a toolkit of
useful techniques. Signing has helped Xander to be a really happy kid
as he could be understood before he could speak. His signs help us to
know what he means now that he is trying lots of new words even when
he's not very clear. Apparently he even started his own little signing
revolution at nursery; other kids in his room picked up some of his
signs! And like so many other mums have found, the 'I love you' sign is
adorable.
take care you!
Helena
