Sing and Sign Classes by Angelina
This is the place to comment on your Sing and Sign learning experience with me.
I've taken my daughters to Sing and Sign classes with Angelina since they were seven months old; we've just completed the first term of Stage II, and have one more term to go. Angelina is fantastic; she has an unerring enthusiasm and energy, and my girls have been captivated by her from day one. Aside from being a lot of fun, Sing and Sign has a more practical application. My girls have been able to tell me that they want 'more', or something to 'eat' or 'drink' for some time now – useful for a Mum of triplets! In the past few months their confidence in their ability to communicate has grown and sometimes they drop the sign and just say the word. I’m sure that the classes have accelerated their language development. All in all I can't recommend Sing and Sign or Angelina highly enough.
My son and I have been going to sing and sign classes since he was eight months old and we both absolutely love it!! I'm amazed by how much he's learned and he signs everyday - he's really taken to it. Angelina is a fantastic teacher - so enhustiastic and supportive. I have recommended the classes to all my friends - two of them are actually starting next term!
My 8 year old now never shuts up and neither do his younger sisters who also both signed. I blame it all on Angelina and her influence ;-)
It especially helped with my middle child who is the most easily frustrated of my three. She signed way before she could talk and it really really helped keep a calm atmosphere in our house. Her older brother asked to be retaught so that he could join in too.
Angelina is just brilliant. She has SO much enthusiasm for signing and genuine love and interest in the children in her classes. This is not just any old job.
A friend and I started sing and sign when our babies were both seven months old. My daughter took to Angelina immediately - she has such an engaging manner and warm personality - and still talks about her constantly (even though her last class was more than 6 months ago). She's says its not fair that her little brother (who's just finished his second term of Stage I) gets to see Angelina and she doesn't!
We think that both my kids have developed their language much more quickly as a result of Angelina's classes. My daughter spoke thirty words before she was one (quite a result for a 7 weeks premature baby) and my son delights me everytime he communicates either by signing or saying a word. He's 16 months old and now signs and says quite a few words such as drink, milk, home, pain, more, hat and a few animals (duck, bird, elephant and pig) - it certainly helps me understand him better!
I can't recommend S&S highly enough. Its a fantastic way of helping your baby to understand the world better and to communicate with them. Thanks Angelina for making it sooooo much fun xxx
I couldn't recommend Sign & Sign more highly. It's a most worthwhile pursuit, which both my kids have benefitted and continue to benefit from. Angelina is, as her name indicates, an angel, always wholeheartedly enthusiastic, and her class has to be one of the best value classes on the market. What more could you ask for? Thanks Angelina!
Not only is sing and sign the best class my daughter has ever done, but it is tons of fun for the parents too. Angelina is such a positive influence you can't help but come away from her classes full of happy vibes! I can not recommend her classes enough, you and your little one will love sing and sign and you will love Angelina!
