... you did such a great job with her she is picking up lots of new words now. Lately she keeps saying 'church' and then rubs her hands together as she knows her sing and sign classes were held in a church.

Thank you so much for everything you have done. We will really look back at sing and sign with great fondness and will miss you singing the potty song (that always made me laugh).

I just thought I would pop you a quick message to say....Kiana started at Montessori 3 weeks ago....Her teachers are so impressed with her spoken English and ability to string sentences together to describe all events! I have to say the credit for this goes to all you taught us at sing and sign.....she still signs for everything along with saying the word! We miss sing and sign classes and she says she missed Jessie cat!

...I recommend sing n sign to any new mum I meet because I believe in it... Despite our hard work at home.. I think it's the knowledge n understanding from that that is helping her. She is amazingly well spoken in English and now picking up lots of spoken Gujarati and learning French at Montessori! I think it sounds like I am going to have to be on the ball as she is moving too quick.

...we do sign at home all the time and i know Jaivyn enjoys his class and has picked up so many signs from you. He signs more,milk, eat,hot, drink, open, duck, waves bye/hi, moos when he sees a cow and even brush your teeth! it makes life so much more easier with this communication and less guess work for us! hehe. so will definately see you the term after.

Hi there,

I don't know if you remember me - my son Thomas and I did your beginner course in the summer of 20II in Ricky.We would have carried on, but I had to return to work so couldn't fit it in. It was terrific and he signed lots - and would you believe, he still watches the second video once a week ! I now have another son, called Luke, and I want him to do the course too.

year and has loved it ... especially Jessie Cat who has been a great cot
 companion for her .. and helped her to sleep better!  She has used a 
number of signs and although is dropping most as shes speaking there are
 a still some she uses. It has been a GREAT communication tool for her 
and us and would recommend it to anyone .. am happy to write a 
recommendation on your webiste.

Hi Angelina,
Thank you so much for sending me the link to the booking form for September – we had a baby boy, Yusuf, in January and he will be old enough to come from next term. Habeeb is very excited and can't wait to come back to your classes. He still talks about you and remembers all the songs, and we have been doing lots of signs with Yusuf already – he is already familiar with the nappy song and the signs for milk, home, 'out' etc.
I have just paid for the class by bank transfer so hopefully you will receive the money by tomorrow. I have paid £75 as we have the CD from Habeeb's time.

ps the twins have been signing lots...my favorite was Aarav signing 'home' one day as we drove onto out road and parked oustide the house!!The other one that surprised me was 'boat' - one that I have never used with them but they obviously picked it up during your class and then used it weeks later when we were looking at some picture books!!!

Hi Angelina,

I'm really sorry but we have had to miss today's class as Sophie is poorly. I am gutted, as I was really looking forward to it. The twins have been signing loads and seem to be picking it up really quickly now and it is wonderful to see the look of delight on their faces when they realise that they can communicate with myself and my husband and be understood. They sign for eat, more, clean, nappy change, open, brush teeth and Chloe has just started pointing to birds when we are out and about and doing the sign for bird! It is fantastic! Anyway, I was really looking forward to the start of term as I know they usually enjoy the class and feel they will get a lot more out of it this term now that they understand a bit more.

Anyway, hopefully all will be well next week and we will get to join you. I have a cheque ready for you, which I was going to bring today. If you would prefer me to post it, please let me know, otherwise I will bring it next week. On the up side, I have managed to get both twins down for a nap - so I actually have some very rare "me" time this morning!

Wanted to email, as don't want you to think that we are not coming!

Will do....I'm back to work full time now and really miss your classes....Aiobhinn loves the DVDs and we play all the time, they have been a godsend at times, esp in the middle of the night when we have to put on, on occasions when having teething probs.....Jessie and the singing/signing has been the only thing to calm her!!

Olinda has been signing a lot since the end of stage 1 and within the first week of the last class started signing 'more' and other signs.

I do t know of you remember but at the end of stage 1 I mentioned that as we are moving and I am going to India for 2 weeks, I won't be able to go to the stage 2 classes this time. We would like to come to the next set of classes in September however.

We have bought the stage 2 DVD from the sing and sign we site and are continuing your good work.

Dear Angelina,

I used to bring my first child to these classes and thought they were great. I'd now like to bring my second child, who will be 6months old at the end of april, just in time for the summer term.  Would it be possible to reserve a place for us on the harrow course?  Could you also tell me the time/dates for the harrow class as i will need to consider what to do with my older son?

We will also pop in to the taster session on 1 march if thats ok - do we need to reserve a place or is it drop by?

Sorry for not responding any earlier. L was discharged on Monday
and is now much much better. You will be pleased that Jessie Cat, the

Angelina, thank you for making our Fridays so enjoyable for last 
year and half. Juliana and I will miss it so much! ...just not sure we are ready to say goodbye yet! If you ever decide
 to do more and older course I know there will be lots of people more 
than happy to attend!

Now, it has been a long time since I updated this blog with feedback but I'm starting now. Little by little - I can't possibly do it all now because there is JUST SO MUCH! But, to paraphrase an old Buddhist proverb: a jug is filled drop by drop. (Or something...)

Did you know, perfectionism is a damaging thing and prevents us (me) from getting things done, so with that in mind, I'm not even going to attempt to add things in the order that I got them. I'm just aiming to get it all down. So here goes...

I will give a short talk on the benefits of baby signing and answer your questions over a relaxed cuppa. And then we have a mini class session where I will teach you the basics (exactly what I teach you in the first class of term) so you can start signing with your baby immediately that day! If you have already made your online booking, you can bring your cheque payment on the day and pick up your dvd there and then (subject to availability). NB: My advice is NOT TO WAIT FOR A TASTER SESSION before booking your place on the course as you may be disappointed.

I'm trying something new this term by introducing an optional £2 charity donation. (I hope you are fine with this. It is OPTIONAL and this time, as I have had a couple of mums with direct experience of it, I am supporting a charity for Congenital Heart Defects which is a cause that is under-reported and under-funded and under-researched.)

I am looking forward to the class this Friday. Last week my son Zayan (for the first time) stood in front of Angelina mesmerised (not his usual behavior). Angelina eventually had to move him aside so the other children could see.
He has loved sing and sign since he was 6 months old and is constantly pulling out the DVD and ushering us to put it on. He enjoys every bit, doing the songs and he signs along, mummy and daddy totally rely on the signs for literally everything. Even when he started to talk, most of his words sounded alike: Floor, door and even draw sometimes sounded the same. He even came up with his own draw sign, drawing with his finger on the palm of his other hand asking me for a paper and pen.
Angelina, definitely makes the class a lot more fun and enjoyable for the little ones
I did it with my daughter,who also loved it (she is 5 now) and loves teaching the signs to her brother, unlike her, my son does a lot more signs and makes our life easier in understanding him and this time even my husband taught him a lot of signs.
Love love love Angelina and sing and sign. No tears and screaming in this house.

FRIDAY 18TH JAN: HARRROW SING AND SIGN CLASSES ARE CANCELLED TODAY.

I have taken this decision after consulting all available forms of weather oracle including tv, interweb, looking at the sky and cosmically communicating with Zeus. Will be sending emails but if you are a class member seeing this please pass the message on to anyone else you know in class. Have fun and keep warm with your little ones. Xx

We have loved coming to Sing and Sign with you and Jessie, Angelina. I will miss it as much as Serena- having been coming since Jasper was little.
She is going to start nursery in January.
We look forward to getting our, erm her, certificate on Thursday!

Hi, Angelina. We're in for the Christmas class! Also, not to gloat or anything (okay, to gloat a little) but Iz has added "drink" and "thank you" to her bank of regularly used signs. : ) The sound effects for "eat" are just the icing on the cake. lol See you tomorrow! x
