Hi, Angelina. I wanted to let you know how Kanishk is getting on with his signing-its been great.

My mum(his grandmum) was a Nursery School teacher/researcher/trainer once upon a time-she still has a repertoire of lovely nursery rhymes and songs for him and we’ve been doing them with him with signs.... Kanishk has picked up all the signing for all these rhymes and can communicate which rhyme he wants us to sing by the unique signs and tune of each rhyme. He also welcomes new rhymes and he does like a fair bit of repetition when a rhyme is new and fresh till he has picked up all the signs. He is talking a bit more-,,,
...mostly trying to string the words he knows together and make a sentence (he adds in gibberish for fillers but thats ok-we know he’s trying to talk like us...he!!he!!)

Thanks..I think Sing and Sign is showing its influence on him now truly!!!!

Hi Angelina!

How lovely to hear from you.... I have been meaning to email you, I promise to do so everytime I get one of your crazy emails then completely forget!

We are all well - Wren is scarily grown up talking non-stop, in complete sentences (at just over 2!) and saying the funniest things - like, as I am reversing from my parents drive, 'mummy, try not to crash into anything!'  and 'dont panic!' when dad asks her to be careful on the stairs!  She is also continuously asking what things are and often replies 'MMmmm thank you mummy, I didnt know that word....' She is a crazy kid!

I still put her advanced talking and communicating skills down to you and sing and sign - so thank you once again!   ...and you were right not let us come back for another term, she had all the skills she needed.... although we still miss you terribly!

I must look into another singing and dancing type class and swimming too I think when the weather decides to warm up a little!

Anyway I shall stop waffling - Hope you and mini-me are both very well.

Stay in touch xx
...Also I wondered if you could possibly remind me of the words to the opposites song and the love song. Sophia has been asking me to sing these songs but I can't remember all the words! She especially loves opposites. Last night she was saying up down, on off over and over as she settled herself to sleep...

Thanks!

Since my parents (Mike + Rosy Griffith) have only done the second half of term 1 I'm sure they'd enjoy having the full stage 1 experience next term!
I'll send a cheque next week.
BTW, the two Jessie books I got from you are a great success, getting very crumpled from frequent reading!
Thanks,
Rachel.
Thanks so glad you got us in I don't think the girls
Can go on without your class they love it too
Much have done since we have started. I think I probably love it more than them

Is it ok if I give you a cheque payment next week?

Thanks
Minta
Hi angelina, this is already verity's second term of stage 2, so don't worry if you can't fit her in next term! Though I will miss you and will have to find some other way of catching up with you!!

SNOW UPDATE HARROW FRIDAY CLASS
I am going to give it an hour and decide whether to go ahead with classes today in Harrow or do them in half term. Doesn't look like a thick covering of snow, but it's very cold so not sure about icy driving conditions. Any of my attendees have any comments? At time of writing it's 07.51am (forget what it says on the bottom of the entry - it's American time I think).

I brought my little girl Lucie to your classes in 2008/2009 and I now have another little girl that I'd love to do Sing and Sign with. She was born in October 2011. Could you let me know what classes are available and when she could start please? Thank you and looking forward to Sing and Sign again!
Hi Angelina

It was great to talk to you after all these years.  I am so happy that you are still giving sing and sign lessons.

Our new addition is Noah, he was born [xxxxxxxxx].  I would like to sign up for the summer term.

Hannah is doing really well, she is lovely.  I am still good friends with Louise and Conor, they are doing really well too.  I also have Rachel, who is now 4.  Unfortunately I didn’t get to do alot of signing with her as we moved out here 3 years ago.  I am looking forward to signing with Noah.  I am very rusty but can still remember songs like change your nappy and time to have a bath.

Love Suzy
Have a lovely weekend.

And here's to lots more signing! Chloe really loves your class and she loves signing x can't wait for next term to go to level 2 xxx

Lots of love

Claire and Chloe
Hi Angelina,

I hope you're well. I attended your classes in Harrow a few years ago with my first daughter and we both really benefitted so I'd like to bring my second daughter along now too. I know that the term has already started though so I wondered whether you would allow us to join mid-way? We are familiar with the signs and have the DVD so I'm sure we'll be able to cope with not having been there from the start.

We would like to join the 10:30 class in Bushey on Thursdays but if that one is full then could we join the one at 10:30 in Harrow on Fridays?

I look forward to hearing from you,
Azra (mum to Zaynab-7 months old)

My son Harry and I attended sing & sign for stages 1 & 2 and he enjoyed every minute. He loved all of the songs, especially the instruments. While we were there he didn't really do any of the signs but I wouldn't give up and both my husband and I kept it up at home. Last year we moved to Milan, Italy and we couldn't believe it when Harry started signing. It was amazing and the best thing was the locals would understand what he asked for as the signs are pretty universal. It really helped him settle and also made it so much easier for us to understand what he wanted. I think it helped curb at least some of the tantrums. I was worried that it would delay him talking but this didn't happen at all as soon as he started talking he just naturally stopped signing. Now I have another son who has just started taking the classes and the best thing is my eldest is signing to him now as well. The DVD's were a life saver and now we can sing the songs together. I really recommend this to everyone. It is worth every penny!! Even Jessie is helping with the potty training.

Cheers Talie Harrison (Bruno's mum)
