Hi Angelina,

Looking forward to returning to sing and sign with baby no.2

Heath has already been introducing Gilan to Jessie cat, he is most upset that he'll be at nursery and not able to come to class!

Thanks

Hi Angelina

I hope you're enjoying your summer break.

I have some exciting news! Sophia has added more signs to her repertoire of signs! She does them (mostly) in the right context and with meaning. I don't know if you remember but she started with 'milk' towards the end of our first term. She now also does more, hat, tired, her version of train (we live very close to the station so hear the trains all the time) and open and shut! It's a-ma-zing!! At first I was a little sceptical but I am now a believer her grandparents were sceptical too when I was telling them about it, until they saw it for themselves! Sophia gets really excited when she can see i understand her especially when she gets more fruit or more games when she asks for them! I am really hoping she will start using even more signs now.

I put my name down on the waiting list for the 10.30 class at mill end and on the list for 11.30. I would prefer the 10.30 class as Sophia sleeps at 11.30 so would be quite grumpy if we went for the later class. Are you able to tell me if we are in the 10.30 class? I haven't paid yet as I thought I would need confirmation of our place first. Or does it work the other way around??

Thanks and regards

Ourania

Hi Angelina,
Hope you're enjoying this beautiful weather. Kitty and I have been having a great time in the sprinkler and paddling pool, not sure who loves it more!

We have loved coming to your classes so much and will miss you greatly.

You've been, not so much a breath of fresh air but a blast of fresh air each week and we've both enjoyed learning so much from your classes. Kitty's speech is coming on amazingly well and people always comments on her talking. I tell them it's all down to Sing and Sign. I will never forget the day she realised she was able to communicate. It was and electric moment when she signed 'bird' and was thrilled that I understood her. It made the hairs on my neck stand up as it was so magical. So much more exciting than when she first walked. In fact I can't even remember when that was- Bad Mum! But those early days signing were just wonderful and she's gone from strength to strength. I can't thank you enough for all your brilliant advice, constant enthusiasm and inspiring stories. We will miss you greatly.
Many thanks
Holly
